Vacation!

We went on vacation to a family camp place in Vermont on Lake Champlain. I loved swimming in the baby pool every day, and I got to ride around on a bike with Dad for the first time. That was a thrill! Check out the photos to see. In the morning, I went and played with the other kids my age while Mom and Dad went out and did fun things like take out canoes and a sailboat on the lake, take an archery and painting class, and relax.

I was happy to come home last weekend though. I missed the cat. Lately I've been very chatty and I'm saying new words every day. I especially like to say "duck", "bubbles" (bubba!) and "squirrel" (gookull!), three of my favorite things this week.

I also enjoy looking at the photos of people on the fridge and in the hallway. I point to Uncle Greg and say "Gurk".

Oh and did I already mention that I finally decided it was time to walk?? I still prefer to crawl because I'm so quick at it, but I've been strutting around here and there, which makes Mom and Dad clap and cheer.

I also started going to Gymboree classes this week. It's like an indoor playground, and then we sing songs and stuff. Mom thinks it's a little cheesy, but I love it. I don't like the big clown puppet so much though... he's a little scary.
