Hooray for Spring!

Now that Spring is here we can finally get out of the house for some outdoorsy fun. We had a great weekend of enjoying the warmish Springtime weather. The skies were clear, and the sun was shiney and the trees are finally getting their leaves back.

After my fun bath on Saturday morning (see the pic - like my nifty towel?), we went to a park for a stroll, and then I had a nice picnic while Mom and Dad watched all the funny dogs run around. There was lots of illicit peeing going on. First a dog came over and peed on my stroller, and then I peed all over Dad while he was changing my diapers. Sorry if that's Too Much Information; I don't know any better because I'm just a baby and peeing is definitely way up high on my top ten list of things that I'm pretty good at. Then we went over to Noel and Johanna and Lila's and enjoyed the tasty dinner that they shared with us out in their nice back yard.

Today I helped Dad mow the grass with Noel and Johanna's nifty mechanical lawn mower. I had a pretty good time enjoying the breezes, but Dad got a hand full of blisters. That's all of the stories I can remember for now - thanks for visiting!

Happy Friday!

Had a tough day at work today - it was non stop pooping and napping and crying and eating. Wow. It's a tough job, but somebody around here has to do it. Dad says he's going to enter me in the Babyman Triathlon - I would definitely do the best on the sleeping portion.

Yesterday Mom took me to my second free baby yoga class. When I went the first time, I couldn't stop crying while all the babies were supposed to be relaxing. But this time I enjoyed it a bunch. We were all lying on our backs in a circle, and all the moms gave their babies a nice massage. It was nice and quiet and relaxing - all the babies were all quiet and content. And then I let out the loudest most juiciest poop ever! Everybody had a good laugh about that one. Whew! The yoga instructor says that massage is good for digestion - it sure is.

Mom and me

I was just realizing that I don't really have many photos of my mom up here, and she's pretty much my favorite person ever. We've been having a relaxing weekend. Had a great visit yesterday with my nifty cousins Noel and Johanna and Lila, who live up the road. We went out to get a burger at what is becoming my favorite restaurant (I've been there twice already and I'm less than 50 days old; also, Mom took me there the day before she went into labor). Today we went to church and have been hanging out at home this afternoon. For some reason I've been really hungry today - can't get enough of that milk! Mmmmm...

Speaking of food, I wanted to send out a huge THANKS to Shawna and the rest of the folks at Lexington United Methodist Church for bringing food by our house for the last month. Because of their generosity and tasty meals (as well as all of the grandma visits), we've only had to start cooking for ourselves in the last couple of days. So, thanks! And thanks for hiring dad as your organist - he's having a great time.

That's all for now - thanks for reading!

Smiles!

Since Mom's been bugging me to smile for the camera this week, I finally gave in. So here are a couple of goofy grins for all my fans... enjoy 'em! Yeah, I'm pretty cute.

Dancing with Grandma Kay

Bopping around with Grandma Kay

Grandma Kay is a great dancer. Sometimes she even sings to me, and I love it.

Hanging with Grandpa Vin - he makes me laugh

I'm having a great time today with my Grandpa Vin and Grandma Kay. I had some really big smiles, and almost laughed, maybe.

Photos!

Here's what I look like most of the time these days. Kind of puzzled and worried.

We are trying a new website to manage photos. You can even order prints of the good ones, if you want. Check it out here! Also, there's a crazy icon over there on the right hand margin that will take you to the page. Check back every so often for updates!

Hey YOU!

Happy Friday!

Mom says I've been smiling a lot now, but we don't have the photographic evidence yet to prove it. I also like talking to my friend the Panda, and my favorite thing to do is to read the Mulberry street book and sit in my bouncy chair. Oh, and working out in my gym is fun too (when the cat's not using it). It's a good life so far!

Now that the weather is turning nice, we'll be able to spend lots of time outside, watching the birds hop around and the flowers bloom and the trees grow some green leaves.

I'm really looking forward to visiting with Grandpa Vin and Grandma Kay and my Granddog Fuller this weekend. Apparently, I really like dogs, because most of my outfits (ie. the ones without bears on them) are covered with dogs and bones and stuff. I even have at least three identical outfits with a big blue dog on the butt. So it should be fun to play with Fuller.

Today's my birthday!

Hello world - I am now officially one month old. To celebrate, dad went down to the Cambridge City Hall today to pick up my birth certificate. Now that I have that and a social security number, I officially exist as an American citizen. Hooray!

Days at home have been busy lately. Between eating, napping, and pooping, I have hardly any time to engage in my favorite activity: dancing around to music! Anything with a beat will do, but I'm particularly fond of Bossa Nova, Bluegrass, and Motown. We have a CD of African kids' music too, which I really like. The busy days really tire me out, so I've been very good so far at sleeping for big chunks at night, which helps keep mom and dad from being too bleary-eyed in the day time.

It's been a bit tough this week, not having grandmas around to help me get comfy and sleepy. So I'm really looking forward to Easter weekend when Grandpa Vin and Grandma Kay are coming to visit!
